- Other News- After much debate, we've decided to transition the company name from "Spellbound Wings" to "Melissa Dawn Art." We will be making the transition gradually, with a new website look and web address in the upcoming months. SpellboundWings.com will redirect to the new
address for the next year, so don't worry about coming here and finding we've disappeared!

- Fairy Cats- Melissa has finished the next piece in her "Birthstone Fairy Cats" series; Amethyst Cat.
This adorable kitten is purrfect for February birthdays and of course anyone who loves purple!
- Timepiece Cameos- The newest jewelry design from Melissa Dawn, Timepiece Cameos combine an elegant quartz watch face and an art cameo. This unique style of jewelry is both practical and fun, and will be an eye-catching conversation starter!
Melissa will be releasing several different lines of jewelry using watch faces and her art cameos, so stay tuned for more items with this exciting new product.

- Happy New Years everyone! We have a new painting and some website updates for you today!
- Fairy Cats- Melissa has finished the next piece in her "Birthstone Fairy Cats" series; Garnet Cat.
This gorgeous feline is purrfect for
January birthdays, Valentine's Day, and black cat lovers!
- New Galleries- Since Melissa's "Animals" gallery contained an overwhelming number of cats and just one other animal, we've decided to add a new gallery just for Melissa's fairy cats! You can view all of her fairy cats in our Fairy Cats gallery. Melissa's series can also be found in the Fairy Cats sub-galleries,
including Birthstone Fairy Cats and Key Kittens.
- As always, don't forget to keep your eye on Melissa's Etsy shop for items not found here on SpellboundWings.com! We have a variety of ornament frames and other special items that we'll be adding to Etsy throughout this month.
- We also want to give everyone a heads-up that most jewelry & compact mirror prices will go up $2-3 in February, due to supply costs. We want to give you plenty of time to order before the new prices take effect!

- Animals- Melissa has finished the final piece in her "Keys of Enchantment" series; Key of Feathers.
- Fairies- Melissa also finished a beautiful new fairy painting, December Wings,
- Gift Tins- Just in time for the holiday season, we have the perfect gift sets available for purchase! Choose between a small locket, classic cameo, or large locket; we put the necklace
in an organza bag and pack it in a matching gift tin. We can mail the gift tin directly to the recipient if you'd like, and will gift wrap it and add a card for free! Come pick out a
Gift Tin set now!
- Cameo Rings- Jewelry lovers, we have a new product for you-- Cameo Rings. These pretty little rings feature a cab the same size as our small lockets, and are quite addicting to wear!
- Classic Cameos- Melissa has also redesigned our Classic Cameos. The new cameo settings are slightly smaller and much lighter, and incredibly shiny-- these little beauties are irresistible!
- Licensing- We are thrilled to announced that Melissa has been signed with Heaven and Earth Designs cross-stitching, so cross-stitchers can now stitch most of Melissa's paintings! There are currently five patterns available for purchase, and another ten
should by up by the end of the week.
- Store Finder- We have also updated our Store Finder page, so you can see if there's a store near you carrying Melissa's work!

- Holiday ornaments are up on Etsy!!!
I only have ten ornaments total, so if you want one, I would grab it now! I'm not sure if I'll be doing any more ornaments this year-- if I do, they won't be these exact ones (Tim bought me these last year!). You

- Gift tin sets, cameo rings and classic cameos will be added to the site here within the week, along with a new painting or two!

- Melissa has finished the third piece in her "Keys of Enchantment" series; Key of Leaves.
- To celebrate the start of Melissa's favorite season, 5x7 and 8x10" prints are on sale!!! Melissa's beautiful prints are still available at festival prices.
- Fairytale Wreaths and Fairytale Boxes have been removed from the website and will be available only at shows from now on; cat angel prints "Snuggle Angels" and "Silver Cat Dreams" have been retired.
- We hope you like the improvements on the website! Melissa has redone most of the jewelry pictures, with some new key designs as well. Classic Cameos are undergoing some changes and will be available shortly! Also, our 40x30mm gold antique cameo settings have been backordered; if you order one of the chaarmed
cameos with this setting, you can choose to wait until the settings arrive, choose an alternate gold setting, or go with the silver setting.

- Just in time for the fall season, our popular painting The Halloween Kitten has now been added to a variety of jewelry items, including Charm Bracelets, Charmed Cameos, and Lockets!
- As the end of the year approaches, we will be working on a new version of our website (again!). Fairytale Wreaths and Fairytale Boxes will likely be available only at shows from now on, so if you'd like any of these items please order them soon!

Artfire is a new online selling venue similar to Etsy, with a lot of great items.

1000 Markets is also a new handmade goods site, but is organized very differently than both Artfire and Etsy. You can browse markets, or groups of shops
that are organized around a specific theme. It has a beautiful look, and since all members have to be accepted by the jury, the merchandise is amazing!
