Fragile Spring

   A beautiful white fairy bunny perches in a lilac flower on a magical dewdrop-filled spring morning.

Painted in Photoshop, 2010.

Inspiration: This is actually a painting of my bunny Tinkerbell; I based the painting on a picture I took of her a year ago, when she was a baby. The black around the eyes is a glossy black fur ring that looks like eyeliner-- it's one of the traits of this breed of rabbit, called "Hotots." Tinkerbell is actually a hotot-lionhead mix, which is why you see especially fluffy fur between her ears!
